Graham Hellier (Managing Director) Graham has a Diploma in Business Management and 28 years experience in the Insurance Industry with 10 of those in claims management. He holds formal Insurance qualifications and has represented the Insurance Council of Australia on all Australian Standards committees pertaining to the Termite Management Standards and is an active member of the Queensland and West Australia Government committees relating to termites.

He also holds Certificate IV in Pest Management, is a licensed Pest Manager and Fumigator. Graham has a Diploma in Workplace Training and Assessing. Furthermore, Graham has previously taught Pest and Weed Control in the NSW TAFE system. His papers have been published internationally and he is currently drafting new Australian Termite Standards.

 

Murray Healey (Director & General Manager) Murray has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting together with 10 years industry experience. During this period he has worked as an Accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and as a Finance and Management Accountant with Tasman Asia Shipping. In addition to his roll as General Manager Murray is the Financial Controller for the Group.

 

Peter Wynn (Director & Marketing Manager) Peter holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management and Marketing coupled with 20 years industry experience and fellowship status with the Australian Marketing Institute. He holds a Diploma as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor. Furthermore, Peter is a Marketing teacher in the NSW TAFE system and a former Lecturer and Tutor in Marketing and Management at the University of Newcastle. He is also Tier I AFS qualified.

 

Marilyn Hellier (Company Secretary & Claims Manager) Marilyn has 20 years experience in the Insurance industry, the last 14 of these as Claims Manager. Prior to the Insurance industry Marilyn worked for 5 years as a legal secretary whereby she obtained extensive experience in claims management. It is this grounding which has made Marilyn highly credentialed to head the Claims Management Department at Pacific International Insurance.

 

Manfred Baku (Reinsurance & Ratings Manager) Manfred holds University qualifications in Business Administration and Insurance. He has 26 years local and international experience in insurance and reinsurance. Experience gained working for companies such as Guy Carpenter, Frankona Reinsurance, Allianz, Rhine Re Switzerland and R+V Reinsurance. He was responsible for new business development and treaty business in East Asia, South Africa and since 1996 Australia.

In 1999 he moved to Australia as representative for R+V Reinsurance for Australia and New Zealand. Manfred joined Pacific International and is responsible for the Company’s reinsurance, rating, APRA compliance and New Zealand compliance.
